Being Brave!
Following on from listening to the Bible story, Mrs Tatman wanted to see how brave we could be, but we didn't have to fight a giant!
There were different foods for us to try... but we had to wear a blindfold! Some people were braver than others.

At the end of the morning,we could try anything we liked again.
This time we could see what we were eating, which was a bit less scary!
David and Goliath
We Watched This Video Story This Morning
What did you think about David? Would you have been as brave as he was?

Reading time with Year 6 buddies
Reading time with Year 6 buddies
Today the children got to share their reading books with their Year 6 buddies. The buddies then wrote a comment in their reading diary. Both sets of children take so much from these experiences.
Great reading Year R and excellent teachers in the making Year 6.

Today the children made the 'oo' sound using Cheerios breakfast cereal. They then challenged themselves to read the words.
Amazing reading Cherry class, well done!

Fire Service Visit
Fire Service Visit
Today the children were very excited to see the fire engine and crew. They gave us a talk about how to stay safe at home and what to do if there is a fire. Then the children got to look around the fire engine and (most importantly) see the lights and hear the sirens.
The children really enjoyed the visit and have been talking about it ever since.
A special thank you to Mr and Mrs Mitchell (Amelia's mum and dad) for helping to set this up for us.

Muddled Months!
Mrs Tatman had a bit of a nightmare this morning, because all of the months she had were in the wrong order!
