Exploring Palm Sunday

We had a rotation of activities this morning to learn about Palm Sunday, and why it has this name.

When 'Jesus' came through the town, everyone waved their palm leaves to celebrate!

 

World Book Day

All the children had a great day on world book day, they got to share their favourite books, characters and what they themselves dressed as for the day. We read lots of stories and even had a visit from a real author in assembly. The children also loved creating their own story books in their child initiated 'Busy Bee' time, which they later read in class to their friends.
